An Annual Inter-School Environment Festival ‘Vasundhara – Celebrating the Colours of the Earth’ was organised at DPS Vasant Kunj on 10 August 2018 in which 26 schools participated.
The Festival comprised of 4 Off-site Events, Video Making, Essay Writing, Photography and Poster making, and 6 Onsite events, Whizz Quiz, Glass Bottle Painting, Newspaper Dress up, Product Designing, Poetry Writing and Nukkad Natak.
In the On Site Event, Product Design, the students had to create and market an eco-friendly and useful product which caters to the needs of the environment. Aanya Soni and Aanya Trehan of Class XI won the Second Prize for their product ‘Rainbow-DIY’:Water testing kit with a blog.
In Whiz Quiz,Shikhar Sarangi and Abdullah Siddiqui of Class X won the Third Prize.
In the Off-site Event, Video Making, Aanya Soni of Class XI won the Second Prize. In the Photography Competition,Mehak Puri and Sanjana Mehrotra of Class XII (Senior Category) while Advay Dhingra and Pulkit Gupta (Junior Category) won the Third Prize.
The mentors for Product Designing were Mr Mukesh Kumar & Ms Niva Chhonkar.
