The Quizzing Club of Delhi Public School R.K. Puram held its 6th edition of Infinitus Reus – the Annual Quizzing Extravaganza, which invited the enthusiastic participation of 82 teams across Delhi, on Saturday, May 17 2025. The club was founded in 1983, and is the oldest and one of the most distinguished clubs in school. Over the years, Infinitus Reus has provided a platform for budding quizzers to unleash their potential, hone their skills and gain confidence for future enhancement. This year, the event provided an unforgettable experience to all the participants with new formats and an extensive range of questions.
Infinitus Reus 2025 was held in partnership with Oddy stationery and Cornitos. The event comprised a Senior Quiz for the students of class IX-XII, which was based on the theme of FLAMES: Food, Fashion, Literature, Art, Music, Entertainment and Sports. It consisted of thirty questions in the preliminary round, with the top scorers advancing to the elimination round and eventually the final round. The comperes for the event, Tiara and Divyansh welcomed the participants, and read out the rules and guidelines for the quiz.
The quizmaster was Mr. Arindam Bhattacharya, a multifaceted personality and an expert in the field of quizzing. He has conducted more than 500 quizzes over 17 years. His vibrant persona and charismatic way of asking the questions made the quiz even more engaging for the participants.
21 teams qualified for the semi finals, out of which 6 teams made it to the finals. The atmosphere at the venue was charged as each team vied for the trophy, facing increasingly challenging questions.
The valedictory ceremony commenced in the Seminar Room with the esteemed Principal, Mr Anil Kumar’s address. He interacted with all the participants and stressed on the importance of participation over winning. He reiterated the fact that for him, all students are winners as they are the chosen ones from their school; they have already taken the first step towards success. The winners were announced, and were felicitated with trophies and certificates. The overall winner was DPS Greater Noida. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Quizzing Club Incharges, Ms Priyam Sharma and Ms Sakshi Malik .
