On the evening of 4 February 2025, the hostel farewell for the outgoing batch was hosted. It was an unforgettable celebration filled with emotions, nostalgia, and camaraderie. The event commenced with a soulful Ganesh Vandana, invoking blessings for the seniors’ journey ahead.
The Principal, Mr. Anil Kumar, addressed the gathering with words of encouragement, highlighting the importance of resilience and lifelong learning. The evening then unfolded into a vibrant mix of performances. A heartfelt poetry recitation captured the essence of hostel life, while a humorous skit brought waves of laughter, depicting the bond and brotherhood between the seniors and their juniors. The Mashup Dance was a powerhouse of energy, setting the stage ablaze with electrifying moves. The English Band performance struck a chord with the audience, evoking both nostalgia and excitement. The Boys’ Hostel’s performance concluded with an emotional yet entertaining speech.
In the Girls’ Hostel segment, a beautifully crafted narrative, “The Journey Called Life,” set the tone, comparing hostel life to a train journey filled with unexpected friendships and cherished moments. The evening featured soulful musical performances, adding an emotional touch, while dance performances symbolized the joyous bonds shared over the years.
The event culminated with an emotional vote of thanks, on behalf of all the hostellers, by the Hostel Head Boy, Sohaum Rodborne, and Head Girl, Kaushiki, expressing gratitude to the teachers, wardens, and everyone who played a role in shaping their hostel experience. As seniors prepared to embark on new journeys, the farewell served as a reminder that friendships made within those hostel walls would remain etched in their hearts forever.
