Mr. Deepak Gaur, Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Jawaharlal Nehru University visited the school on 8th February 2017. Addressing the students of class 6, he talked about issues of health and hygiene. He also explained that the most effective way to keep away from illness is to maintain a good personal hygiene. His lecture dealt with the ways in which obesity can harm all age groups and can cause multiple diseases like high BP, diabetes and heart problems.
He also showed a short video on how vaccines are important and can prevent various diseases.He explained the disadvantages of the usage of mobile phones and how hazardous they can be to human life.He warned everyone not to eat junk food which has it’s own harmful effects.
His lecture was wonderful and precise covering all aspects of health and hygiene.
