On 22 May 2026, the AI Innovation & Incubation Centre of Delhi Public School R.K. Puram, in collaboration with Google and VVDN Technologies, hosted an educational workshop on Artificial Intelligence. The session aimed to immerse students in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI and explore its transformative potential in the modern world.
The workshop was attended by the Principal, Mr Anil Kumar and the Vice Principals – Mr Naresh Miglani, Mr Anil Kathuria and Mr Mukesh Kumar. The distinguished guests included Mr Vinamra Jain (Account Director at Google), Mr Sachin Shetty (AI Specialist at Google), Mr Gaurav Garg (Head of Cloud Business at VVDN) and Mr Manoj Biswal (Head of AI Practice at VVDN).
The event commenced with a soulful performance by the school choir followed by the address by the Principal, Mr Anil Kumar. In his address, the Principal emphasized on the ethical and responsible use of AI. He described AI as a means to replicate and enhance human intelligence, drawing insightful parallels from the natural world—such as the numerical understanding of ants—and the technological legacy of the Voyager 1 spacecraft.
This was followed by the address by Mr. Gaurav Garg, Head of Cloud Business at VVDN, who encouraged the students to adopt AI thoughtfully, highlighting its power to solve complex real-world challenges. He elaborated on the profound impact of AI across diverse sectors, including healthcare, education and daily automation.
A key highlight of the event featured a presentation by Mr. Vinamra Jain and interactive demonstrations by Mr. Sachin Shetty, who introduced the capabilities of Google Gemini and Gemini Omni. Through live demonstrations, students witnessed how generative AI can revolutionize creativity, research and task automation, inspiring them to apply these tools to improve practical efficiency.
An engaging Q&A session was conducted thereafter, allowing students to interact directly with experts and gain valuable insights into the future of emerging technologies.
The Vice Principal, Mr Mukesh Kumar concluded the session by reflecting on recent technological milestones and sharing a visionary outlook on the future trajectory of innovation.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks by Ms. Taruna Kapoor, Incharge of the AI Innovation and Incubation Centre, marking the workshop as a highly informative and successful initiative for everyone involved.
