The DPS Society conducted an Essay Writing Competition on 1 September 2017 at DPS R K Puram. Nearly 200 schools participated in the event.
Syed Momin Iqbal of class 12 B secured the 1st position in the Senior category in Hindi language. He received a cash prize of Rs 25000 along with a certificate.
He is the chief editor of the Hindi Editorial Board and also an active member of the Samvad Hindi Club. The winner was appreciated by the Principal, Ms.Vanita Sehgal and was felicitated at the Scholar Badge Ceremony by Mr. John Varghese, Principal St Stephens College, New Delhi on 8th November 2017.
