Educational Trip to Ahmedabad – Class X 

As part of its experiential learning programme, DPS R.K. Puram organised an educational trip to Ahmedabad, Gujarat, for the students of Class X from 30th July to 1st August 2025. The itinerary offered a perfect blend of science, history, and culture, along with opportunities for recreation and teamwork.

Students visited significant landmarks such as the historic Sabarmati Ashram, where they learned about Mahatma Gandhi’s life and philosophy; the Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition at ISRO, which provided insights into India’s space programmes, satellite technologies, and recent missions; and the Statue of Unity, where the group also had a memorable interaction with Mr. Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir.

Another highlight was the visit to Gujarat Science City, with its state-of-the-art Aquatic Gallery and Robotics Gallery, offering interactive and engaging exhibits. Each destination provided unique learning experiences, from understanding India’s scientific advancements to appreciating its cultural and historical heritage.

Well-planned transport, a thoughtfully designed schedule, and the dedication of accompanying teachers ensured a smooth and safe trip. The inclusion of leisure activities, such as a DJ night, added to the students’ enjoyment. Parents praised the trip’s educational value, safety measures, and the way it sparked curiosity towards science and history.

The excursion was a perfect blend of learning and enjoyment, leaving students with enriched knowledge, broadened perspectives, and cherished memories.
