Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram celebrated the festival of lights with great warmth and enthusiasm by organizing a Special Assembly for the students of Classes VI to XII on October 17, 2025. Adding to the festive spirit, students came dressed in vibrant ethnic attire, radiating joy and colour across the campus.
The celebration began with a soulful prayer presented by the Indian Choir. Their melodious voices filled the air with serenity, invoking a sense of peace and devotion.
This was followed by a mesmerising dance performance that left the audience spellbound. The dancers’ synchronized movements, expressive gestures, and lively energy beautifully captured the essence of Diwali — a festival that celebrates the triumph of light over darkness.
The Principal, Mr. Anil Kumar, addressed the gathering. In his inspiring message, he emphasized the significance of Diwali as a time to spread joy, kindness, and positivity. He urged the students to embody the festival’s spirit in their daily lives by fostering unity, compassion, and goodwill within the community.
The assembly concluded with a devotional aarti, performed with heartfelt reverence, providing a perfect and spiritually uplifting end to the celebration.
