“The significance of Diwali is the removal of darkness and ignorance from the mind, and filling it with goodness.”
To celebrate the spirit of Diwali, a special assembly was conducted for classes VI to XII on October 25th, 2024. The assembly started with a melodious prayer ‘Achyutam Keshavam’ by the students to seek the blessings of the almighty. Post this, our Principal Mr Anil Kumar led the audience through the morning prayer. A graceful invocation dance to invoke the blessings of the almighty was presented after this.
This was followed by a mellifluous western choir presentation by the students of the western music society. After this was a beautiful solo song by Inayat Kaur Bajaj of Class XI B , followed by a group song by the students of Indian Music Society. This was followed by an energetic and dynamic dance performance on the song ‘Khalasi’ by students of classes XI A and B.
After these wonderful performances, the Principal addressed the students wishing them a happy diwali and reminding them to stay responsible while enjoying the festivities. The students wore ethnic dresses and enjoyed the show put up for them. The assembly concluded with the powerful message that no matter how dark the world may seem, light always prevails, and left everyone with a festive vibe.
