The students and teachers of DPS RK Puram came together on 6 February 2025 to bid the class of 2025 a heartfelt farewell and shower them with best wishes for their bright future. The decoration was aesthetic with an amazing display of coloured balloons, banners and festoons, that truly set the mood for the afternoon of celebration. The ceremony began with heartfelt speeches, reminiscing about the first steps into the school and the journey that transformed classrooms, corridors, and playgrounds into a second home. The event was a window to the past, a tangible fragment of time capturing moments of joy, challenges, and friendships that shaped the students’ lives.
The Western Choir performed a mellifluous medley of songs that symbolized the transition from school to new beginnings, followed by a tribute to teachers, acknowledging their unwavering guidance and care. The Indian Choir then presented a nostalgic musical rendition, echoing memories of childhood. The Vice Principals,Headmistresses and HODs of all the subjects shared words of wisdom, inspiring students for the journey ahead. A vibrant dance performance on a lively mix of foot- tapping numbers mesmerised the outgoing students of class XII.
The Principal, Mr. Anil Kumar, delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to embrace the future with confidence. With teary eyes and hearts brimming with nostalgia, the event did not end with a goodbye but with the promise of new beginnings.
