A Guest Speaker Programme was organized for the students of class VI on 11 April 2018 and 18 April 2018. Dr. Deepak Gaur, Associate Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Jawaharlal Nehru University, spoke to the students about ‘Health and Nutrition’.
He lay emphasis on the importance of eating healthy and maintaining personal hygiene. With the help interesting videos, he demonstrated the way vaccination works and the way the malaria pathogen spreads. The videos were greatly appreciated by the students. Dr. Gaur gave also spoke about the dangers associated with the usage of mobile phones.
The sessions proved informative and engaging for the students and teachers alike.
