Class Presentation XI-T 10-12-2020

Topic- Together strong, United unbeatable

To deny people their human rights, is to challenge their very humanity. Humanity is a bond that binds us all, yet sometimes gets the better of us. 10th December is celebrated as Human Rights Day across the world. The aim of the class presentation was to remind everyone of the beauty of unity, compassion and love for all. We are different; we always have been and always will be. This difference shouldn’t divide us, rather it should become the tie that unites us all, while maintaining our individuality and promoting diversity.

The presentation started with a welcome note and introduction by comperes, Aarushi Aggarwal and Ishanvi Arora, followed by a divine prayer, sung beautifully by Yashoverdhan Gupta. Then, Mala Kumari gave the thought for the day on the importance of peace and unity. Subsequently, Sayam Jain recited a self-composed Shloka, enlightening the audience on the significance of the Human Rights Day, after which Naina Srivastava gave a speech, highlighting our role as dutiful citizens, to foster humanity. Later, Bhavya Lakhina recited a powerful poem, given by Saanvi Arora. The presentation ended with a melodious rendition of ‘Heal the World’ , sung by Saanvi Arora. The guitar was played by Anoushka Garg. The vote of thanks was given by Aarushi Aggarwal. The presentation was edited and compiled by Aarushi Aggarwal and Anoushka Garg. The beautiful e-invites and slides were prepared by Kashish Chaurasia and Diva Kapoor.
