Topic- It’s Easy to Stand in a Crowd but it takes Courage to Stand Alone.
The class presentation of X-I was a famous quote by Mahatma Gandhi “It’s easy to stand in a crowd but it takes courage to stand alone.” The quote despite its unembellished construction epitomizes the significance of upholding our beliefs and not succumbing to pressure. There have been many men and women from history who consciously chose to ‘stand-alone’. They defended deep convictions, beliefs, ideas and dreams. In some ways it is the most powerful place to stand. It is far better to stand alone than compromise with your identity.
The presentation commenced with a warm welcome by Khushali Grover and Shashwat Shankar. The morning prayer – “Teri he zameen tera aasman” was sung by Samannita Halder and Rudrakshi Thapliyal which was followed by the thought for the day by Siddhant Bhardwaj. Rohita Bhatia’s beautiful shloka’s rendition was translated by Abhav Garg. A self-composed poem by Anya Ahluwalia was recited by Anya Ahluwalia, Aaradhika and Trisha Khandelwal. Samannita Halder concluded the presentation with a beautiful Bengali patriotic song written by Rabindranath Tagore rendition, “Jodi Tor Dak Shune Keu Na Ase Tobe Ekla Cholo Re ”. The vote of thanks was delivered by Archit Choudhary. Ashutosh Shukla and Shreyansh Pratap Singh prepared the Google slides. Ritwik Kumar and Aarav prepared the e-invites. Aditya Banka was responsible for the audio editing and compilation.
