Students of Class VIII E chose Bhai Dooj as a theme for class presentation. It is celebrated two days after Diwali and it defines the eternal love between siblings (brother and sister). On this occasion sisters apply tika on the foreheads of their brothers and pray to God for the longevity, well being and prosperity of their beloved brother. In return , the brothers give gifts to their sisters and take a vow of protecting them forever. This festival celebrates the strong bond between brothers and sisters.
The class presentation started with a soulful rendition of a beautiful Shlok in Sanskrit by Rayan Ali followed by a comprehensive speech by Naysa Punhani that emphasised on the values and folk tale associated with the festival of Bhai Dooj. After this, Arnav presented the musical prayer followed by Roopansh Baijal,Vansh Goyal and Harshita who spoke meaningful thoughts for the day. Rishit Mangal recited a mesmerising self composed poem followed by the vote of thanks to our esteemed guests.
