A concentration of 350ppm of carbon dioxide is considered hazardous for human beings. In view of this fact to sensitize the students towards the grave environmental concern and to encourage responsible thinking an interschool environment festival ‘Sanskriti 350’ was hosted by Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri on December 6,2012.
In this festival various competitions were organized.DPS R.K.Puram won First Prize in Band Competition ‘Sounds of 350’ of consisting of Ishan Malhotra, Sureet Singh, Shaurya Mittal, Jemima Khan, Sanjay Menon and Madhav Logani of Class X. Vasudha Vijaysheel , Antara Joglekar , Yagya Sachdeva, and Arjun Kakkar of Class XI in the Photography Competition and Lavanya Jindal,Sareh Zaheer and Mohita Breja of Class VIII in ‘The taste of 350-You are what you eat ‘ a Cookery Competition bagged the Second Prize.
The winners were appreciated and congratulated by the Principal Dr D.R.Saini and Head of the Department of Biology, Mr S.K.Arora. The students were guided by Ms Niva Chhonkar, Incharge,the Environment.
