A team of six students of class IX-Ishaan Semwal, Naman Kohli(IX-K), Aadhya Dhar, Aniket, Mahika Miglani and Prathamesh Jha (IX-N) from DPS RK PURAM participated in an inter-school model making competition at Carmel Convent on 22nd July 2019 and were awarded the First Prize. The theme was “Sustainable Development”. The Chief Guest was the Principal of Carmel Convent, Sr. Tina Maria D’Souza. The students were given two hours to prepare a model on the spot. They constructed a Bicycle Generator, Charging roads for electric cars and Renewable Drainage System for E-Waste. They gave an introduction and insight into their model as well as answer the questions of the judges. The students were mentored by Ms Dimple Menon of the Biology Department.
