Topic: “IF WINTER COMES, CAN SPRING BE FAR BEHIND…”
“If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?” is the concluding line from P. B. Shelley’s poem “Ode to the West Wind”. This line suggests that no matter how bleak and difficult things may seem, better days are on the horizon. It’s a metaphor for the cyclical nature of life and the idea that the darkest times always give way to brighter ones.
The assembly commenced with the prayer “O Paalanhaare”, sung by Aanya, Sanvi, Ayushi, Vanya Sharma, Adya, Raya, Tanvi, Jyoti, Anshika, Suhani, Rajsi, Lanica, Vrinda, Gracy, Komal, Ananya, Kartikeya and Khwahish. The mesmerizing invocation dance was presented by Vanshika and Samvida. The comperes, Vigaas, Tejaswini, Aanya and Sankalp, introduced the topic “If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind”? and invited Vanya Pal and Miesha to share the thoughts for the day and thereafter, Rachna, Shreya, Aradhya, Koustubh and Apoorv to deliver the news. This was followed by a rhythmic poetry Mashup by Brian, Parnika, Gurmani, Leshya and Arunima. Also, to commemorate Earth Day, a conversational speech was delivered by Raghav, Hargunn and Jesiya. A melodic and rousing choir related to the topic of the assembly was managed by Anandita, Vrinda, Lanica, Khwahish, Suhani, Rajsi, Gracy, Komal, Ananya, Brian, Adya, Aanya, Jasnoor, Raya, Shivang, Pratham, Kunal, Ayushi, Parnika, Gurmani, Jesiya, Gayatri, and Vanya Sharma.
