TOPIC: “CHEER UP THE LONELY”
In the words of Mark Twain “ The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer somebody else up”.The students of classes XII J and XII K present their assembly on the topic “Cheer up the lonely”.The day brings forth the relevance of small things we can do to spread love around us because darkness cannot drive out darkness but a ray of light has the power to defeat it. The idea encourages people to embrace the opportunity to cheer up the lonely because in the act of kindness lies the power to transform not just their day, but the very course of their lives.
Just as a single spark ignites a fire that warms countless hearts, your gesture can ripple through time, touching those connected to them in ways you may never know. Together, let us paint a picture where loneliness fades into memory, replaced by the warmth of human connection.”
The assembly began with a prayer titled “Subah Savere Lekar Tera Naam Prabhu ” which was sung by Arnav, Ashmit, Daksh, Ritvik, Samrath, Sai, Aanya, Avni, Naina, Lakshay, Sang, Krishang, Priyanshu, Md. Haneef Rahman, Saksham Singhal, Tanveer Singh Talvar, Arnav Rai Gupta, Vasu Garg, Jashn. The prayer was followed by a vandana to invoke the almighty and was presented by Anwesha, Avani, Taarushi, Sidhi, Nancy Jaiswal and Ridhi Kakkar.
The news was presented by Devraj,Diptanshu,Ashmit,Sanav and Ashish. This was followed by the thoughts for the day by Sang, Akul and Shaurya and Dev. A thought provoking skit was performed by Aanya, Naina, Shobhini, Pranay ,Avni, Vansh, Aditya, Sai, Samrath, Shaurya, Yajat, Reyansh Chadha, Aryamaan Goswamy, Ameya Aneja, Anya Grover, Syed Wasim Ul Haque, Jashn Sharma, Akul Shaurya, Tanveer Singh and Mukund. The skit was based on the hollowness and void that we all experience and the real secret to lead a happy and fulfilling life.
The team of percussionists included Oihik,Sai,Krishang, Aikagra Gupta, Mukund Madhav, Tanveer Singh. Western choir included Arnav, Ritvik, Sanav, Sai, Samrath, Lakshay, Sang, Aryamaan Goswamy, Waseem, and Tanveer.
The assembly ended on a happy note revealing the secrets of leading a fulfilling life . The Board artwork, invitation cards,E- invite, folders, Presentation of the assembly were created by Naina, Ridham, Anant, Krishang, Naman, Adyant, Rihit, Aksh, Md. Haneef Rahman, Shreyansh Agarwal, Ashmit Kaushik, Akul Shaurya and Ridhi. The compering was done by Shaurya Veer Singh, Yajat, Manas Sood and Tvisha Tanvi. Finally, the Audio-Visual Hall was filled with the melodious School Anthem followed by singing the National Anthem.
