TOPIC: “LEGACY OF HUMAN INTELLECT AT DPS RKP”
The morning of 14th October 2025 witnessed a captivating and intellectually vibrant assembly presented by Class XI U on the theme “Footprints in Time – Legacy of Intellect at DPS R.K. Puram.” The assembly beautifully celebrated the enduring journey of knowledge, values, and creativity that define the school’s legacy.
The proceedings began with a warm and graceful welcome by the poised comperes Pratyusha and Shaurya, who set a cordial and engaging tone for the morning. The atmosphere soon filled with serenity as Anika, Anshi, Sejal, Palak, Luvish, Shubham, Sanchit, Pranav, Abhijit, Kartik, Amitabh, Suditi, Sonakshi, Hundai, Swastik, Prasiddh, and Parth led the Morning Prayer, invoking divine blessings and positivity. This was followed by an enchanting Invocation Dance by Shrutika, whose expressive movements radiated devotion, grace, and rhythm, symbolizing the continuity of tradition and intellect. The Thought for the Day, presented thoughtfully by Rajnandani and Suditi, encouraged everyone to cherish the wisdom of the past while shaping a brighter future with intellect and compassion.
A thought-provoking Skit performed by Anshi, Anika, Rajnandani, Shah Ibrahim, Pratyusha, Suditi, Aishaani, Kimaya, Pranav, Saksham, Tejsev, Sejal, Amitabh, and Swastik skillfully portrayed how the footprints of great minds continue to inspire generations. Their expressive acting, humor, and dialogue delivery left a lasting impression on the audience. Pratyusha and Swastik further enriched the atmosphere with their self-composed poem, a heartfelt reflection on learning, growth, and the timeless spirit of DPS R.K. Puram. The assembly’s rhythm and energy heightened with a spirited Western Dance by Aadya, Anushree, Aishaani, and Shriya, whose synchronized moves symbolized the vibrant dynamism of youth. The melodious Western Song by KH Lalruathlui and Hundai filled the venue with harmony and joy, adding a lyrical charm to the morning.
Behind the scenes, the Creative Team — Kimaya, Megha, Falguni, Naisha, Maira, Myra, and Parth — showcased remarkable artistry through thoughtful props, visual aesthetics, and stage décor. The seamless coordination of visuals and sound was managed proficiently by Shreyansh, Devansh, Maira, and Myra, who handled the Digital Presentation with technical finesse. The assembly concluded with words of appreciation and reflection, celebrating the collective effort, creativity, and intellectual spirit of Class XI U. It truly left behind “footprints in time,” embodying the legacy of intellect and excellence that defines DPS R.K. Puram.
