Assembly XI-A & X-H (24-11-2025)

TOPIC: “LEGACY OF HUMAN INTELLECT AT DPS RKP”

LEADING LEGACY

On the afternoon of 24th November 2025, the AVH shimmered with reflection, grace, and intellectual vibrance as Classes XI A and XI H presented their Class Assembly on the theme “The Legacy of Human Intellect at DPS R.K. Puram.” What unfolded was a heartfelt tribute to the school’s tradition of perseverance, dedication, creativity, and excellence.

The assembly opened with the deeply moving prayer “O Palanhare,” rendered with devotion by Shivansh Gautam, Pragyan Singh, Vihaan Dilwaria, Swapnil Singh, Anirudh Dua, Oishee Halder, Agastaya Chandok, Nishchay Singh Rawat, Chetan Bisht, Gauransh Saini, Rishabh Samania, Manya Bhagat, Tejas Singh, Archit Barthwal, Sanvi Agarwal, Khyati Agarwal, Akhil Ranjan, Dhairya Pawa, and Saumya Nidhi. Their serene voices filled the hall with an atmosphere of hope, gratitude, and spiritual warmth, beautifully setting the tone for the afternoon.

This soulful beginning was followed by a graceful classical dance performance by Rishika Kumari, Aradhana Prakash Ranjan, Apurva Rani, and Pallavi Singh, whose expressive movements and elegance showcased the richness of classical dance. Carrying forward the reflective mood, the Thought for the Day was thoughtfully presented by Adhiraj Mayengbam and Saumya Nidhi, reminding the audience of the power of intellect and purposeful learning. The News Headlines, delivered by Pragyan Singh, Suhani Sinha, and Anirudh Dua, added clarity and relevance to the programme.

The assembly then transitioned into its central highlight — the skit “Museum of Achievers.” Brought to life by Kairav Chowdhury, Aamir Shahedi, Oishee Halder, Riya Sinha, Keshav Jalan, Krish Raj, Soumya Aswal, Shaurya Bharadwaj, Satvik Sharma, and Raghav Taneja, the performance transformed the stage into a living gallery where statues of distinguished alumni of DPS R.K. Puram came alive, each symbolizing remarkable accomplishments and sharing heartfelt reflections on determination, imagination, and the courage to dream.

The hall then resonated with uplifting energy as the Western Choir presented a spirited rendition of “Don’t Stop Believin’,” sung by Soumya Aswal, Kavya Balaji, Aashi Aarzoo, Oishee Halder, Akhil Ranjan, Arshia Elza Kuriyan, Prince Raj, Bullo Grace, Skarma Wanchuk, Lanchenbi Khundrakpam, and Shuhini Pheiroijam, accompanied by instrumentalists Kairav Chowdhury, Vihaan Dilwaria, Jayant Kartik, Teertharaj Lairanlakpam, and Khyati Agarwal.

The assembly’s seamless execution was ensured by comperes Jayant Kartik, Kavya Balaji, Meghavarshini, Anushka Nathawat, Aashi Aarzoo, and Manya Bhagat. The Creative Art Team — Soumya Aswal, Oishee Halder, Arsh Khan, Kinjal Gupta, and Pia Mittal — enriched each performance with thoughtful props and visual elegance.

The Digital Presentation was meticulously crafted by Arsh Khan, Raghav Taneja, Kairav Chowdhury, Divyansh Raj, Galax Luwang Thangjam, and Anusha Singh, while the script was shaped with dedication by Kairav Chowdhury, Rishika Kumari, Raghav Taneja, and Meghavarshini — together creating a radiant celebration of the enduring legacy of human intellect at DPS R.K. Puram.
