TOPIC: “PEACE”
The morning assembly on the theme ‘Peace begins from within’ was conducted jointly by the students of Classes VIII-C and VIII-J. The programme began with the comperes Rayana Gupta, Shaurya Sabharwal, Motipalli Tanvi Sree, Inaaya Sekhri, Rohana Ramasubramanian, and Manya Shrian, who confidently guided the audience through the event.
The assembly commenced with a soulful prayer presented by Anay Gupta, Devang Malviya, Abhiraj Kumar, Abhishek Kumar, Parush, Rupam, Sonam Pandey, Hardik, Prarabdh Mishra, Ansh Kanojia, Jiyana Garg, Rishabh, Sarthak Kumar, Umaira Sharma, Gurkirat Singh, Hiraanya Singh, and Darsh, followed by the news read by Motipalli Tanvi Sree, Agastya Gera, Kumar Shubham, and Arjun Naik.
The audience was inspired by the Thoughts for the Day shared by Savita Kumari Thakur, Shrishti Mookerjee, Shoubhit Ash, Aaron Maitreya Singh, and Yadnya Sagar. The highlight of the assembly was an engaging peace-themed skit performed by Yuvraj Chawla, Guransh Singh Khurana, Vikrant Singh Rana, Sambhav Marwah, Aniket Singh, Daiwik Seth, Shreyas Choudhary, Divyan Ahuja, Harnidh Kaur, Savar Kumar, Hridhaan Yadav, Iyrah Kumar, Siddharth Goyal, and Amaira Pradhan. A beautiful poem recitation by Shriya Sinha further reinforced the message of harmony and compassion.
The programme was enriched by a lively Western Dance performed by Syra Agarwal, Rishika Saggar, Anamika, Arohi Gogia, Vanya Ahuja, Kyra Tandon, Divija Singh, and Nandika Kulshrestha, followed by a melodious Western Choir. The vocalists included Ayati Vatts, Motipalli Tanvi Sree, Aniket Singh, Meher Dugal Anand, Sanskriti Singh, Paridhi Gandhi, Ayaana Singh Tandon, Prisha Aggarwal, Rohana Ramasubramanian, Mishika Singh, and Pihu Arora, while the instrumental accompaniment was provided by Rudrakshi Kaushal (Guitar), Shivaan Jain (Guitar), Arjun Gupta (Violin), Yuvraj Chawla (Drums), Sudhikshan Kundra, Manya Shrian, Roshna Bhola, Anay Gupta, and Ananya Gupta.
The assembly concluded with the message that peace begins with kindness, empathy, and respect in our everyday actions, inspiring everyone to become ambassadors of peace in their school and community.
