TOPIC: “THE PARAMPARA OF STORYTELLING: PASSING WISDOM THROUGH GENERATIONS, LESSONS FROM THE PAST”
TOPIC: Let’s Grow Together
The morning of 11 December 2025 witnessed an inspiring and heart-warming class assembly presented by Classes VII E and VII F on the theme “Let’s Grow Together – The Legacy of DPS R.K. Puram.” The assembly beautifully highlighted the values of friendship, teamwork, compassion, and the spirit of shared learning that form the foundation of DPS R.K. Puram.
The assembly began with a soulful morning prayer sung by Vansh, Mayank, Hirdhyansh, Tusya, Dhruv, Prrayann, Riaan, Sohila, Ishani, Amaira M, Yaira, Eesha, Elina, Aanya, Vihaan, Myra, Aahan, Zainab Abdullah, Myra, Tanishka, Abdul, Amyra, Unnatii, Pavni, Aaradhya, Leonica, Aryan, Mahesh, Harish, Gautam, Rechita, Aatika, Niharika. Then the Vice Principal, Ms Rashmi Malhotra, welcomed everyone with an eloquent prayer.
This was followed by a Theatrical Presentation that included a Skit that highlighted Buddy System in school, Western Dance, News, Thought of the Day, Self-Composed Poems, and a Western Choir. To illustrate the theme, Viaan, Omar, Reyansh, Ayanna, Himanshi, Amogh, Harish, Sayansh, Sohila, Tanishka, Mehr, Yuveer, and Tusya performed a skit showcasing the message of Buddy System, emphasising that students learn best when they care for and support one another.
The energy of the stage was taken a notch higher by the western dance performance by Zainab Ahmed, Yashvi, Tanshi, Tanish, Bishujeet, Miraya, Lavanya, Kavya, Kanishka, Pranya, Radhika, Rashika and Avni. News reading was confidently presented by Abhiraj, Avyaan, Leonica, and Sayansh. Amyra, Ayaansh, Yuven, and Arav shared their thoughts for the day. The self-composed poem was presented by Viaan. Then melodious song highlighting the theme was sung by Ishani, Myra, Amaira M, Aanya, Aaira, Yaira, Elina, Eesha, Sohila, Amyra, Unnatii, Kyra, Leonica, Aaradhya, and Mairaa, which filled the hall with warmth and unity. After the theatrical presentation, a vote of thanks was delivered by Kashvi and Miraya. The comperes of the programme were Shakul, Nivitsa, Kyra, Kiaan, Krishiv, Unnati, Aaira, Shayna, Aanya, Ishani, and Amaira Manchanda.
The exquisite invitation cards, folders and board were made by Elina, Mehr, Ishani, Ruchir, Miraya, Sohila, Tanishka, Vihaan, Avyaan, Nivitsa, Amyra, Unnati, Miraya, Omar, Amyra. The digital presentation & E-invite was made by Ayaansh and Shakul, Kiaan and Arav. Both classes delivered commendable performances and emphasised the values of empathy, teamwork, and continuous learning.
