Topic: Do something drastic…Cut the plastic!
Keeping with the pledge to curb plastic pollution in the country, students of class 7C presented their assembly with the aim to spread awareness regarding the adverse effects of plastic. This was done through thought provoking speeches,poems,song and dance performances. The students also showcased the rich cultural heritage of Gujarat through a presentation and a folk dance performance.
Topic: Water- The Elixir of life
Water is vital for sustenance and nothing can thrive on Earth without it.“Water, water, everywhere, not a drop to drink”.These lines by Samuel Taylor turned out to be true today and realising this sad reality the students of 7D tried to bring sensitivity among all on the careful use of this resource through their assembly.The students also showcased the history and culture of the state of Punjab through speech and it’s traditional dance form ‘Bhangra’.
