Assembly VI-H 10-12-2019

Topic: Human Rights and Responsibilities

Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, gender, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more.  Everyone is entitled to these rights, everywhere and at every time without discrimination.

We, as the holders of human rights and fundamental freedoms, all individuals and communities, have the duty and responsibility to respect those of others. Today, we the students of class VI-H, through a series of roleplay’s, music and dance want to re-emphasize the importance of the human rights and our responsibilities and duty to strive for the promotion and observance thereof.
