Assembly VI-E (28-10-2021)

Topic :  National Unity Day

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru rightly said, “In India, widest tolerance of belief and custom is practised, acknowledged and encouraged.” To celebrate this ‘unity in diversity’, Class VI E put together a presentation, calling attention to, ‘united we stand, divided we fall’. The presentation began with a beautiful introduction in Hindi by Khushi Rastogi, followed by Rasmika and Aniket’s speech on ‘why we celebrate National Unity Day’. Next, Anaisha and Lamiya sang the prayer. Kshitij and Govind recited powerful shlokas, highlighting the power of unity. Taneesha presented the thought for the day, making us ponder the significance of unity. Sara and Surbhi sang the song, followed by a story by Misha and Omyra. Akshara and Mritsha beautifully conducted the assembly with their compering. Saisha Jolly made the PowerPoint Presentation, along with the invitation card. As a class, we learnt that, ‘our ability to reach unity in diversity will be the beauty and the test of our civilisation’.
