TOPIC: “LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE”
“Within each of us lies a radiant light of talents and values— meant to inspire, uplift, and illuminate the world around us.”
Keeping this message in mind, the Class Assembly of Class VI-C and VI-K started with a heartfelt prayer song by Arohi Gogia, Amaira Khurana, Meher Dugal Anand, Gourisha Kaur Saini, Sonam Pandey, Rupam Kumari, Abhiraj Kumar, Kartik, Lav, Parush, Chhand, Pawan, Aarav Kumar, Aradhya, Agastya, Advik, Kabir, Abeer, Ananye, Naman, Samarth, Rahul, Devavrat Arnav, Advay and Aksh. Then the Headmistress, Dr. Anubha Gopal welcomed everyone and led them through the morning prayer. This was followed by Ganesh Vandana gracefully performed by Rishika Saggar, Syra Agarwal, Anamika and Rudrakshi Kaushal. The Thought for the Day was given in four different languages by Ishaanvi (Spanish), Umika (French), Shoubhit Ash (Hindi) and Shristi Mookerjee (English). The news headlines for the day were read by Yuvraj Chawla, Tanvi Sree Motipalli, Reyansh and Vivansh.
Thereafter, an enactment of famous personalities who exemplified the spirit of shining their light was performed by Jiya Sahani (Kalpana Chawla), Kriyansh Chandra (Dr A P J Abdul Kalam), Ayati Vatts (J K Rowling), Agastya Gera (Nelson Mandela) and their introductions were given by Rithvi, Chayanith, Vikrant Singh Rana and Guransh Singh Khurana. It was followed by beautiful self-composed poems by Avni Tiwari and Shaurya Sabharwal. Then, the western choir sang a wonderful song sung by Anaya, Divyanshi, Briti, Arshika, Rishima, Nishka, Diya, Aamna, Utkarsh Atulya and Sanskriti Singh, adding a melodious touch to the assembly. Thereafter, the energy of the stage was taken a notch higher by a choreography titled ‘The Power of Inner Light’ which beautifully resonated with the assembly’s theme performed by Syra Agarwal, Manvi, Savita Kumari Thakur, Taniya Singh, Paridhi Gandhi, Rahini Prasad, Arjun Gupta, Devshree, Pranay, Kartik and Md. Asad.
The comperes of the programme were Guransh Singh Khurana, Sambhav Marwah, Rayana Gupta, Aniket Singh, Anureet, Jay Anand, Mahira Gulati and Ishaan Jain. The folders, handmade invite and the board for the assembly were made by Yuvraj Chawla, Vivansh, Pranay, Arohi Gogia, Rayana Gupta, Rishika Saggar, Tanvi Sree Motipalli, Anureet, Mahira, Avni, Md. Asad.
