TOPIC: “PEACE”
On Tuesday, the 11th of August 2026, the students of classes VI-A and VI-B presented a captivating assembly on the topic “PEACE”, showcasing the importance of peace in one’s life.
The assembly commenced with a soulful morning prayer led by Suraj Tanwar, Viraj, Ozair Kidwai, Neil Amit Chand, Suhani Darnal, Saina Mehta, Aria Prakash, Hridhaan Daga, Shruti Bar, Ranveer Sardana, Vishnu Verma, Prakhar Prashant Yadav, Daksh Soni, Ansh Raj, Bhavesh Pratap Singh, Nivaan Vaish, Ryna Malik, Vihaan Aggarwal, Shaisha Kumari, Abheer Rai, Anoosha, Bhawyansh Basoya, Kiara Arora, Sanskar, Urjit Chakravorty, Herit Choudhary, Priyanshi and Ronak. Then the Headmistress, Dr. Anubha Gopal welcomed everyone and led them through the morning prayer.
This was followed by a soulful Saraswati Vandana performed by Aarika, Aarna Nandal, Ananya Choudhary, Meghna Bairy and Advita Bhatnagar. This led to students Kavyaan Aggarwal, Aarush Sharma and Ayaansh Aggarwal sharing their thoughts to add value to the topic. To keep us updated about the world and around, Syed Zohair Ali Raza, Amaara Jain, Mitansh Sachdeva and Ayaansh Gupta shared the news.
This was followed by skit based on the famous Gautam Buddha and the ruthless dacoit Angulimala. Everyone enjoyed the performances of the students. Aarav Kumar Rawat, Aariv Mathur, Anav Goel, Avichal Pandit, Nishant Kumar Ray, Pursharth Kaul and Ridaan Pandey played the key roles. Two of our students, Mayra Dewan and Palaksh Bhadauria expressed their thoughts on Peace with self composed poems. To understand the topic a little better, a soulful melody “Heal the World” was sung by Abeer Bharihoke, Abhisyant Rai, Gaurisha Singh, Kartik Singhania, Navya Nagpal, Parinita Choudhary, Varish Sahai, Aditi Rautela, Avihan Jain, Ishana Goel, Partibha, Anahira Seth, Arish Singhal, Adrit Choudhary, Aaryavir Mukhi, Anshi, Abeer Rustagi, Sanaishaa Bihani, Ivana Kohli and Vivaan Saxena. With this the assembly came to an end.
The comperes for the assembly were Atharv Kumar, Atharv Mahajan, Shanaya Bhalla, Shaurya Srivastava, Aarayna Kaur, Myra Mantoo and Saanvi Jain. The folders, handmade invite and the board for the assembly were made and designed by Anoosha, Anahira Seth, Innaya Bhalla, Ivana Kohli, Mayra Seth, Ishana Goel, Abeer Bharihoke, Aariv Mathur, Parinita Choudhary and Pursharth Kaul. The exquisite e-invite was designed and the digital presentation was curated by Aarav Aggarwal and Aryaveer Vashist. The Headmistress emphasised on the topic and its importance in our daily life. The assembly powerfully conveyed that at DPS R.K. Puram, we follow and respect our inner peace, inculcated in our values. The assembly concluded with the uplifting school anthem followed by the national anthem.
