TOPIC: “INSPIRING JOURNEYS/ CELEBRATING ACHIEVEMENTS: SHAPING FUTURE LEADERS, NURTURING TALENT AND PASSION, FOSTERING GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE”
TOPIC- THE LEGACY OF DPS RK PURAM- A GLORIOUS JOURNEY OF SUCCESS.
On the afternoon of 5 December 2025, students of classes of IX-K and IX-L presented their class assembly on the topic “The Legacy of DPS RK Puram – A glorious journey towards excellence”. The program began with a prayer- ‘O paalanhare’ by Aarek Arora, Adith Bharihoke, Agastya, Arnav Raheja, Arnav Saxena, Diyati, Harsh Kirtani, Hursh Bajaj, Kanish Gupta, Krishnav Bindal, Krishnav Singh, Meha Singh, Myra Gupta, Riddhika Thakur, Shrishti, Vidaan Kalra, Vihaan Arora, Aaditya Raj Gogia, Aarav Chopra, Aariv Chauhan, Adi Mittal, Ainesh Kumar, Akhsaj Katiyar, Anika Luthra, Anshika, Daksh Rathore, Dia Mittal, Imaad Naiem, Kiara Chowdhary, Kiara Nagpal, Prithvi Maidan, Radha Chowdhary, Rudraksh Malik, Shaarav Vazirani Veda Chawla and Viraaj Mishra. Their collective melodious voices created a positive and calm atmosphere.
As the class assembly began, a gentle murmur of anticipation filled the room—until the first musical notes blossomed in the air. The performance was not just about voices but a harmonious blend of instruments, played by Armav Agarwal, Aarav Gupta, Ehimay Shankar and Ranveer Abbott. This was followed by a graceful Shiv Vandana presented by Jivisha Jain and Aanya Garg, invoking blessings and spreading a sense of devotion among the audience. The stage was ably anchored by the poised comperes – Riyan Goyal, Aadya Sharma, Veeraaj Ghambhir, Aanya Ananad, Mishka Aggarwal and Aarjav Jain. They maintained an engaging and coherent flow throughout the programme.
After the Vandana, Kanav Manocha, Shaurya Bhatt, Aaditya Raj Gogia and Yati Sharma presented the news headlines, keeping everyone informed about the happenings of the world. This was followed by a thought for the day presented in Sanskrit and English by Lakshya Kaul and Ehimay Shankar, respectively, which inspired everyone to start the day with a positive mindset. The cultural segment included a meaningful skit conveying the values and traditions that the school continues to uphold. The skit was performed by Aanya Anand, Aarjav Jain, Mishka Aggarwal, Hardik Vohra, Ishita Verma, Kiara Bhandari, Rishi Sabharwal, Shauryavir Singh Alag, Aadya Sharma, Aarika Sankhla, Apeksha Gupta, Arnav Raheja, Arshi Jain, Dhriti Mehta, Diyati Aggarwal, Gaurika Sharma, Hursh Bajaj, Inaya Ali Jan, Lakshya Kaul, Myra Gupta, Riddhika Thakur, Samaira Chauhan, Shaurya Uppal and Veeraaj Ghambhir. A Spanish poem was presented by Dhriti Mehta and Veeraaj Ghambhir, which was further explained by Arshi Jain and Lakshya Kaul.
The assembly was further enriched by a melodious choir performance. Aadya Malhotra, Anshika, Ishika, Ishita Verma, Kiara Bhandari, Kiara Chowdhary, Kiara Nagpal, Myrah, Aariv, Aarav Chopra, Mishka Aggarwal, Veda Chawla, Aadya Sharma, Aanya Chandra, Aaradhya Malik, Arshi Jain, Diyati Aggarwal, Inaya Ali Jan, Lakshya Kaul, Meha Singh, Riddhika Thakur, Vidaan Kalra and Veeraaj Ghambhir showcased teamwork and musical harmony. Adding vibrant energy to the program, Aanya Garg, Jivisha Jain, Kianna Grover, Kavya Dayal, Lakshiv Jhorar, Reet, Shanaya Gupta, Viraaj Verma and Adith Bharihoke (Cartwheel) performed an energetic Bhangra dance, which was highly appreciated by everyone present.
The assembly was transformed into an enchanting musical experience when Lakshya Kaul and Veda Chawla took the stage to present a classical raga performance that held the audience in rapt attention. The assembly concluded with a heartfelt Hindi poem, beautifully recited by Lakshya Kaul and Kiara Bhandari. Overall, the class assembly was informative, inspiring, and entertaining. It reflected the confidence, creativity, and collaborative spirit of the students, making it a memorable and successful event.
