TOPIC: “INSPIRING JOURNEYS/ CELEBRATING ACHIEVEMENTS: SHAPING FUTURE LEADERS, NURTURING TALENT AND PASSION, FOSTERING GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE”

In this light, an assembly was presented on 3rd December 2025 on the theme “Moulding Minds, Shaping Leaders: The Enduring Legacy of DPS R.K. Puram” by the students of classes IX A and IX B. The assembly aimed to cultivate appreciation for teacher-student relationships and inspire students to explore their potential and nurture their inner talents.
Aaratrika Singh, Ruchika Verma, Akshat Narayan, and Sanvi Maurya (IX A), along with Riddhima Chawla, Vedika Singh, and Nehal (IX B) skillfully anchored the audience, guiding them seamlessly through the proceedings. The event commenced with a soul-stirring prayer sung by Manjul Raj, Raunit Batra, Pranay Veer Arora, Aarav Agarwal, Manya Sharma, Aarit Dhingra, Aarav Kumar, Pihu Singh, Aaratrika Singh, Bisma Haroon, Harsanjam Singh, and Swara Kiran Niraj (IX A), and Aarav Upadhyay, Aastha Maurya, Abhir Baluja, Aditya Apoorva, Aryaman Shrivastava, Ashutosh, Bhawna Yadav, Chander Prakash, Deepak Kumar, Kartikay Singh Pakhretia, Moksh Saxena, Pawan Pramod Kaushik, Saanvika Arshvi, Sarthak Singh Chauhan, Saarthak Samrat Bandyopadhyay,and Sarvagya Aggarwal (IX B).
This was followed by a graceful Vandana classical dance performance by Ruchika Verma, Aradhya Bhardwaj, Khwahish Kashyap, and Saesha Gulati (IX A), and A. Harini Shree, Akshaya Aditri, and Kritika Chhetri (IX B). The script for the assembly was thoughtfully prepared by Ayaan Goyat, Ayan Srivastava, Advit Sharma, Ansh Garg, Manya Sharma, Prisha Parimieta, Ruchika Verma, Swara Kiran Niraj, and Sindhuja (IX A).
The crucial role of exemplary teachers in shaping students’ abilities was brought to life through a skit performed by Jayaditya Singh Naruka, Advit Sharma, Ayaan Goyat, Atharv Sachdeva Thakur, Shaurya Sahay, and Khwahish Kashyap (IX A), and Aarnav Sharma, Raikishori Roy, A. Harini Shree, Kavya Phuja, Yash Raj Singh and Anvita Mohan (IX B). Current affairs were eloquently presented by Bhavik Gupta and Atiksh Aggarwal (IX A), and Aditya Khanna and Ziyan (IX B), followed by Thoughts for the Day in multiple languages: Ansh Garg in French, Kushagra Jha in Hindi (IX A), Akshita Punia in Sanskrit, and Tanishka Mahajan in English (IX B). A thought-provoking Hindi poem was composed and recited by Riddhima Chawla (IX B) and only recited by Bisma Haroon (IX A).
A melodious song reflecting the theme was performed by Swara Kiran Niraj, Sanvi Maurya, Aradhya Bhardwaj, Manya Sharma, and Aranya Sharma Agnihotri (IX A), along with Anvita Mohan, Ark Shrivastava, Kavya Pahuja, Vanshika Shukla, Pragati Mishra, Aditya Apoorva, Apurv Vikram Singh, Shaurya Sharma ,Vrishank Sharma, Samprati Gupta ,Saanvika Arshvi, Riddhima Chawla, and Akshansh Saini (IX B). The musical accompaniment for the prayer and song was provided by Aarav Vashishtha, Ayan Srivastava, Shaurya Sahay, Aayushi, and Aseem Shankar (IX A), and Ahmad Aariz Hussain, Dev Arya Singh, Eeshitv Bhatnagar, and Samprati Gupta (IX B).
The assembly concluded with an enchanting dance performance by Rishita Kehair, Alina Ibrahim, and Kyra Mann (IX A), and Akkshita, Akshita Punia, and Kishteena (IX B), which captivated the audience with its vibrant expression of the theme. Finally, the artistic contributions of students were highlighted: Kyra Mann and Gauri Basoya (IX A) designed the beautiful invitations; Sakshi Mittal, Chiemi Ngangom, Alina Ibrahim, Saanvi Mittal, and Aashi Singh (IX A) prepared the folders; Akshita Punia (IX B) set up the display board; Vrishank Sharma (IX B) created the E-invite; and Vardhan Nalluri (IX A) prepared the colorful presentation to complement the performances.
The assembly was a vivid celebration of talent, creativity, and the enduring impact of teachers, leaving the audience inspired and appreciative of the rich legacy of DPS R.K. Puram.
