The Central Institute of Educational Technology(CIET), NCERT hosted the 26th All India Children’s Educational Audio Video Festival in a hybrid mode on 31st March 2022 in order to promote creative expression amongst educational media professionals, teacher educators, trainee teachers, teachers and students. They received an enthusiastic response with a total of 750 entries from all over the country. The events consisted of 3 categories namely, audio, video and new media & ICT/ digital games.
The event was judged by a panel of 11 jury members(Dr. O.P. Dewal, Dr. Ritu Rajput, Sh. R.S. Yadav, Sh. Amlanjyoti Majumdar, Dr. Anju Mehrotra, Dr. G.R. Syed, Sh. Nimish Kapoor, Sh. Pankaj Saxena, Dr. Vinod Kumar Kanvaria, Prof. Anubhuti Yadav, Dr. Gaurav Singh).
The students from Expressions Theatre Club, DPS R.K. Puram received the award for the best actor category. The team consisted of Sambhav Soni, Rishabh Khanna, Jayeeta Shome, Shreyansh Jha and Siya Abrol along with teacher incharges Ms. Sanya Taneja and Ms. Sudeepta Chatterjee. The participants received cash prizes along with trophies and certificates.
The organisers commended the efforts of the participants.
The event concluded with the vote of thanks by the Joint Director of NCERT, Prof. Sridhar Srivastava and the Programme Coordinator, Dr. Abhay Kumar which was followed by the national anthem.
