Admission Criteria

 

(a)

Online Registration: Thursday, 8th April, 2021 to Wednesday, 14th April, 2021 (Online Registration date extended as per the request of the parents)

 

(b)

The registration will only be done through the ONLINE FORM w.e.f. 8th April, 2021. Any application related to admissions submitted before 8th April, 2021 will be considered null and void.

 

(c)

Minimum Age: As per the minimum age mentioned in the table above.

 

(d)

Eligibility: Successful completion of the previous class (i.e. Class 8).

 

(e)

Mode of selection: Class 9 admissions will be based on
(i) Merit on the basis of Results of classes 7 and 8. 

Submission of following will be must:

  • Marks (in percentage) of 5 Main Subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Second Language) in the Half Yearly Exams of Class 7 

  • Marks (in percentage) of 5 Main Subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Second Language) in the Final Exam of Class 8 

Note1: Marks should be as printed in the Report Card of respective exams
Note2: Marks of Final Exam of Class 7 are not considered because some of the schools had Online Exams and some had no final exam in the year 2020.

(ii) Verification of documents of shortlisted candidates.

 

Note: Every year, the number of candidates who apply for admission is more than the number of seats available. Therefore, if a candidate is unable to secure a seat, it is in no way a reflection of his/her calibre.

Admission Formalities (For successful applicants only):

 

(a)

Fee Details

Rs.60,000/- is to be paid online out of the total school fees (approx. Rs.1,80,000/-) plus the applicable transport fee, as per the transport facility opted for by the candidate. This amount will be adjusted against the fee for the academic session 2021-2022. The balance amount will be paid in equal instalments. Details will be mentioned in the fee bill to be issued, in due course of time.

 

(b)

Documents and other essential items to be submitted 

(For Selected Applicants – Provisional Admission)


School Enrolment form duly filled and signed by the parents of the candidate.

  • A self attested photocopy of the Marksheets/Report Cards of Final Result* of Classes 7 and 8. (Original Marksheet will be required for verification) 

  • Two passport size photographs of the student, and two each of both father & mother.
    Self Attested photocopy of residence proof. Any one of the following:
    Voters Identity Card / Passport / UID (Aadhar Card) / Ration Card
    (Original documents must be produced for verification. Head of the family should be either the father or the mother in the case of ration-card.)

  • Medical Form duly filled and signed by parents and a Medical Officer.

  • Undertaking form duly filled and signed by parents.

  • Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.

  • Transfer Certificate# (in original), duly countersigned by the Inspector of Schools of the respective area, to be submitted within 15 days after taking the admission.

#The admission will remain provisional till the Transfer  and Character Certificates are submitted in original.

5.

Important

 

(a)

Parents will certify that the information provided by them is correct. If the information is found to be incorrect or false, their ward shall be automatically debarred from the selection / admission process and appropriate action will be taken accordingly.

 

(b)

Parents will understand that the application / registration / shortlisting does not guarantee admission to their ward.

 

(c)

Parents will accept the process of admission undertaken by the school and abide by the decision taken by the school authorities.
