ACTASIA 2016

A delegation of 21 students of Class 11 and 2 teachers: Ms Nita Vijay Kumar and Ms Shruti Mishra attended the 3rd Actasia Interact International Conference in Gangtok, Sikkim from 14-18 December 2016.

The conference was attended by around 300 participants from all over India and the neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and even one delegate from Germany.The students attended the technical sessions during the day.

Shivam Bansal was awarded the First Prize in a speech competition. The topic of the speech was: ‘Youth are equal partners in building a peaceful nation’.
The students also performed a song and a Bhangra dance during the evenings which were devoted to cultural programmes showcasing the talents of the delegates and the rich traditions of their respective regions.

The conference was a wonderful opportunity for the students to interact with their peers from different countries and to make new friends and exchange views on a variety of topics.
