Representatives of 5 colleges of the Claremont Consortium, namely Pitzer College, Claremont Mckenna College, Harvey Mudd College, Scripps College and Pamona College visited DPS R. K. Puram on Wednesday, 11th September, 2013 at 10:30 am for a presentation and interactive session with the students of Classes XI and XII.
The members of the delegation – Angel B. Perez, Georgette R. Deveres, Thyra Briggs, Victoria Romero and Seth Allen, first met with the Principal, Dr. D.R. Saini, and the Education Counsellor, Ms. Mamta Sharma, after which they proceeded to the AVH for their presentation. Various aspects of the admission procedure were discussed i.e. eligibility criteria, essays, the application forms, courses offered and SAT scores etc. There was also a CD Presentation on campus facilities and infrastructure in all the 5 campuses. The students were then given the opportunity to ask questions and clear their doubts.
The interactive session was both informative and inspiring for the students present, who were also given booklets and brochures to facilitate the application process.
