Regional Level CBSE Science Exhibition 2013

The Central Board of Secondary Education takes many initiatives to provide interactive, participatory, hands-on, innovative and creative learning experiences to students studying in its affiliated schools. One such initiative refers to the organization of Science Exhibitions at Regional and National levels every year. These exhibitions provide a common platform to schools, teachers and students alike to shape their innovative ideas and learn from each other’s experiences. They also provide a medium for popularizing Science and increasing awareness among the stakeholders about close relationships between Science, Technology and Society.

This year, students of Delhi Public School, RK Puram – Bhaskar Khaneja(XII-F) and Nishant Jain(XII-G), took part in the Regional Level CBSE Science Exhibition held at The Indian School on 29th, 30th and 31st Aug, 2013 and were placed first under the sub-theme “Community Health and Environment” for their project – “Treating Sewage With Sewage”. They have now made it to the nationals, where they will be competing against many such students from across the country and abroad.
