Beyond coding and technology:
Quiz – The Exun Quiz, open to Classes IX to XII featured a hybrid format with teams of two competing through an online preliminary round and an on-stage final. Questions spanned technology history, contemporary affairs, programming, corporate developments, and digital culture. The top six teams advanced to an engaging, high-energy final where precision, speed, and breadth of knowledge determined the winners. The event was judged by Aravind Ashok and Vidur Butalia.
Crossword – The Crossword event for Classes IX to XII tested wit, wordplay, and command of technology-related terminology. Following an online preliminary round, six finalist teams competed in the offline bounce-pounce format. All clues centred on computing, technology, renowned figures in IT, and related vocabulary, making the competition both challenging and intellectually rewarding.
Group Discussion – The Group Discussion event encouraged thoughtful discourse on technology and ethics among students of Classes IX to XII Participants submitted video entries for the preliminary round; selected students then advanced to the offline semifinal and final rounds. Emphasising structured argumentation and well-reasoned perspectives, the event celebrated clarity, conviction, and intellectual engagement. The event was judged by Pratishtha Batra, Ritin Panchnanda and Areeb Nabi.
The Hardware event provided technology enthusiasts with an opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of computer components, networking equipment, and the systems that power modern computing. The event was judged by Aniket Negi.

With a combination of online, offline, and hybrid formats, the symposium provided participants with multiple avenues to engage, collaborate, and compete. The events were designed to foster teamwork, independent thinking, technological proficiency, creativity, and the confidence to transform ideas into meaningful solutions.
More than a competition, Exun Symposium 2026 was a celebration of curiosity, ingenuity, and the limitless possibilities of technology. By bringing together passionate young minds on a common platform, it sought to inspire the next generation of innovators, creators, and problem-solvers, reaffirming the importance of learning, collaboration, and innovation in shaping the future.
Under the able guidance and leadership of Mr Mukesh Kumar, Vice Principal, and Ms Hema Jain, Head of Department, along with the dedicated support of the department members — Mr Mohitendra Dey, Ms Sarika Kaushal, Ms Anajana Virmani, Ms Shalini Harisukh, Mr Ajith Kumar and Mr Shekhar Sharma — and our ever-supportive technical staff, Mr Diny, Mr Thomas, Mr Joseph, Mr Shankar and Mr Anup, Exun Symposium scaled new heights and emerged as a grand success.
The dedication, commitment and tireless efforts of the entire Exun Clan, comprising members across all age groups, in conceptualising, organising and bringing together an event of such magnitude are truly beyond words. Their collective spirit, enthusiasm and teamwork made this achievement possible and turned the symposium into a memorable success.
Valedictory Ceremony
The valedictory ceremony commenced with the screening of the EXUN Video, created entirely by members of the club. The video depicted a player speedrunning through a game in a determined effort to reach the finish line as quickly as possible. Upon completing the game, however, the player encountered the poignant lines from W. H. Davies’ poem, Leisure:
“What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.”
The evocative ending offered a powerful reflection on modern life and its relentless pace, reminding the audience that in our constant rush to reach the destination, we often forget to pause and experience the journey itself.
The Principal, Mr Anil Kumar, then addressed the gathering. Congratulating the participants on their enthusiasm and spirited participation, he commended the EXUN clan for its rich legacy, accomplished alumni network and remarkable achievements over the years. He appreciated the club’s sustained efforts in creating platforms that nurture young innovators, thinkers and entrepreneurs.
Highlighting EXUN’s motto, ‘We, Not I’, he emphasised the importance of collaboration, collective growth and the strength that emerges when individuals work together towards a shared purpose. He urged the participants to continue striving for excellence, evolving with purpose and preparing themselves to contribute meaningfully towards a progressive and developed nation. Looking ahead, he expressed the hope that the symposium would return next year bigger, better and bolder, continuing to inspire and equip newer generations with the skills and mindset needed for the future.
The ceremony then proceeded with the felicitation of the winners and judges in recognition of their achievements and valuable contributions. The celebrations culminated in a proud and memorable moment as Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj, was declared the Overall Winner of EXUN Symposium 2026. EXUN Symposium 2026 thus concluded on a high note – celebrating not only technological brilliance and competitive excellence, but also the spirit of collaboration, creativity and innovation that continues to define the EXUN legacy.
