Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram delivered an exceptional performance at the 21st Dr A.K. Saha Memorial Young Scientists Experimental Project Inter-School Contest, hosted by Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, on 10 August 2026, by emerging as the Overall Champion. DPS R.K. Puram demonstrated exceptional depth of knowledge in the Science Quiz, securing both the first and second positions.
First Position: Laasya Valluri ( XII E) and Ayush Goyal (XI J)
Second Position: Shaktaam (XII L) and Ryaan Namit Jain (XII L)
The double podium finish reflected the students’ strong conceptual understanding, quick thinking, and enthusiasm for science.
The Investigatory Research Project category saw around 50 submissions, with only nine projects reaching the final round.
Representing DPS R.K. Puram, Aarvi Prakash (XI C), Tarushi Tomar (XII M), and Farzooque Hasan (XII B) secured third position for their research project. The school’s impressive performance across categories earned DPS R.K. Puram the Overall Rolling Trophy, a recognition of the students’ consistent excellence and collective achievement.
