TOPIC: “PEACE”
Topic: Peace Begins with a Smile
The combined assembly of Classes XII-I and XII-J was conducted on the theme “Peace Begins with a Smile,” highlighting the importance of kindness, compassion, harmony and positivity in everyday life. The assembly began with the Morning Prayer, led by Shriyadita, Rhea, Nandika, Pranika, Kashika, Harnoor, Naysa, Vandana, Aiesha, Kashika and Sarainsha from XII-J, followed by Aarav Singhal, Siddharth Joshi, Aadrit Chandravanci, Harshit Bhardwaj, Parin Singh, Aryan, Rhythm Ghosh, Sachith Baskar, Adarsh Jha and Parth Gupta from XII-I, creating a calm and positive atmosphere.
This was followed by the Ganesh Vandana, presented by Aditri from XII-J, invoking blessings for wisdom, peace and harmony. The News segment was presented by Aryan (International), Rhythm Ghosh (National and Sports), Malswamika (International) and Sachith Baskar (Weather) from XII-I, keeping the audience informed about significant happenings around the world. The Thought was presented by Aradhya Chawla and Yuvraj Singh Pelia from XII-I, reinforcing the value of kindness and positivity.
The theme was further explored through a Contemporary Dance performed by Raghavi Rao and Priyanshi from XII-I, followed by a self-composed poem by Md. Armaan Firdous from XII-I. A performative poem on spreading peace and kindness through simple gestures such as a smile was also recited by Kashvi and Mayra from XII-J. A melodious song was presented by Harnoor and Naysa from XII-J followed by “Heal the World” by Nishika Taneja and Yatee Sinha from XII-I on vocals. The Instrumental performance featured Mrigank Kohli (guitar), Ayon Choudhury (keyboard), Shreya (drums) and Myra Singh (violin) from XII-I.
The E-Invite was prepared by Shaarav Tandon and Siddharth Joshi and the Presentation was prepared and presented by Kathith Sethi and Aadrit Chandravanci from XII-I. Adarsh Jha from XII-I and Shriya Sawhney of XII J prepared the Folder. The Speech was delivered by Aarav Singhal, Aadrit Chandravanci, Parin Singh and Harshit Bhardwaj. The Softboard was designed by Adarsh Jha, Parth Gupta and Raghavi Rao from XII-I.
The assembly concluded with the powerful message that peace begins with each individual and that a simple smile can foster understanding, compassion and positivity. Through prayer, news, thought, dance, poetry, music and presentations, the students conveyed the importance of spreading kindness and creating a more peaceful world. Their confident and enthusiastic participation made the assembly meaningful, engaging and inspiring for everyone present.
