As part of the Columban Mélange 2026, a Doha Gayan Competition was organised for the students of Classes VI–VIII by St. Columba’s School, New Delhi on 4th August, 26. DPS R.K. Puram was represented by Ivaanica Khanna (VII-C), Lavanya Choudhary (VII-E), Vaibhavi Pradhan (VIII-A), Aanvi Ghai (VII-D) and Xena Samaara Singh (VII-A).
The team presented the selected Rahim Ke Dohe with exceptional melody, flawless pronunciation, rhythm, coordination and expressions, leaving a lasting impression on both the judges and the audience.
Bringing immense pride to the school, the students secured the First Position through their dedication, consistent practice and outstanding teamwork. This remarkable achievement reflects their commitment to excellence and their deep appreciation for the rich heritage of Hindi literature.
