To equip students with valuable guidance for higher education and career planning, a Guest Speaker Programme was organised for the students of Class XII in collaboration with Athena Education on 9 July 2026 in the Audio-visual Hall. Athena Education is a leading higher education consultancy that mentors students in university admissions, career exploration, profile building and leadership development for institutions across the globe.
The interactive session focused on helping students understand the significance of building a strong academic and extracurricular profile while making informed career choices. The resource persons highlighted that academic excellence alone is no longer enough in today’s competitive landscape and emphasised on the importance of developing leadership qualities, pursuing meaningful co-curricular activities, engaging in community service and cultivating research and internship experiences to strengthen university applications. Using real-world examples, the team demonstrated how a well-curated portfolio reflects a student’s genuine passion and leadership potential to global universities. Students also gained insights into identifying their interests, setting realistic goals and planning strategically for admission to premier universities.
The session concluded with an engaging question-and-answer segment, where students clarified their queries regarding career pathways, profile enhancement and the college application process. The programme proved to be highly informative and inspired students to begin preparing thoughtfully for their future academic and professional aspirations.
