THE INTER-DPS GIRLS CRICKET TOURNAMENT (DELHI-NCR)

The Inter-DPS Girls Cricket Tournament (Delhi-NCR) was hosted at Delhi Public School R.K. Puram from 17th to 20th April, featuring ten competitive teams from across the region.

The event commenced with an opening ceremony where the Principal, Mr Anil Kumar and Chief Guest Ms Dolly Chanana officially declared the meet open. Over four days of spirited competition, Delhi Public School Faridabad showcased exceptional skill to emerge as the tournament winners. Delhi Public School Greater Noida secured the second position, while the host team, Delhi Public School R.K. Puram, finished in the third place.

During the closing ceremony, the guest speaker, Mr  Mandeep Singh, highlighted the rapid growth and rising opportunities for girls in cricket. Alumnus Mr Siddharth Luthra also addressed the gathering, emphasising how sports play a vital role in character building and life. The tournament concluded with the Principal, Mr Anil Kumar, formally declaring the event closed, celebrating the sportsmanship and talent displayed by all participants.
