TOPIC: “PEACE”
On Wednesday, 29th of April 2026, the students of classes XII-K and XII-L presented their class assembly on the topic – “IN PURSUIT OF PEACE”.
The assembly commenced with a melodious prayer “Jaise Sooraj ki Garmi Se…” sung by Shaaktam, Vinayak Gupta, Sannidhi Singh, Tisya Goyal, Yash Vardhan Shukla, Rudra Sharma, Oishee Halder, Bhaavya Seth, Neil Gulati, Neenv Gulati, Atif Yousuf, Rowan Agrawal, Bhaavya Seth, Diya Gupta, Ryaan Namit Jain, Krishna, Sharv Pratap Sarvjit, Aditya Narain Misra, Heramb Tripathi, Anasuya Wadhwa, Shatakshi, Shataakshi, Avika Shaurya. This was followed by a Shiv Vandana performance by Aditi Sindhu, Hemavya Gautam and Aaradhya Gupta.The news was then presented by Yash Vardhan Shukla and Rushil Aggarwal, Divyansh Singh and Humaira Ahmad. The thoughts for the day by Sharv Pratap Sarvjit and Shreyas Chatterjee.
Peace in our daily life is essential because it creates an atmosphere of calmness and stability that allows us to think clearly and act with kindness. When we live peacefully, we reduce conflicts and misunderstandings, which strengthens our relationships with family, friends, and the community. A peaceful mind encourages creativity, productivity, and happiness, helping us to grow both personally and collectively. It also teaches us respect and tolerance, reminding us that harmony begins within ourselves and extends outward to the world around us. In this way, peace becomes the foundation for a healthier, more compassionate society.
Based on the enactment of Nukkad Natak, the importance of peace in our daily lives and maintaining it through the method of resolving conflicts were highlighted through relevant situations. Performers were Kabir Sahni, Pratham Bhalla, Shaaktam, Shrivats Lath, Diya Gupta, Rowan Agrawal, Dhruv Malhotra, Aamna, Aaryan Sandhu, Ayush Anand, Ipsita, Amit Kumar, Shatakshi, Erum Ansari and Sarah Ali Khan. The Nukkad Natak had all the essential elements of a strong theme, clear and concise dialogue, impactful performances, strong characterization thereby engaging the audience with humour, contemporary dance followed by a self-composed poem.
Music gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to imagination and life to everything. So to enthrall with the beauty of music, a song was presented. The song “We are the World, We are the Children” was sung by Vinayak Gupta, Shaaktam, Hargun Kaur, Diya Gupta, Hemavya Gautam, Tanishka Gupta, Delisha Gupta, Aarya, Rushil Aggarwal, Yash Vardhan Shukla, , Krishna Agrawal, Ryaan Namit Jain, Aayush Anand, Aaryan Sandhu, Anasuya Wadhwa, Sahtakshi, Krissh Goel, Rishith Dutt, Pulkit Narain, Suhaan Srivastava, Ronit Bhati, Rudra Raj, Siddhant Sharma, Aaryan Sandhu and Vinayak Gupta were on the guitar, Rushil Aggarwal on the piano, and Lakshay Kashyap on drums. The assembly was further energized by a popular contemporary dance performance by Diya Gupta, Hemavya Gautam, Reet Goel, Riddhi Jain, Akshita Shrivastava, Barbie Jaiswal, Kanishka Kumar, Aarna Khandpur, Erum Ansari and Garv Daga.
The comperes were Arshiyaa Wadhwa, Siddhant Sharma, Hargun Kaur, Samriddhi Bansal, Aditya Das and Ananya Datta. The soft board, invitations, and folders were made by Oishee Halder, Dhruv Malhotra, Aaarya, Aarna Khandpur, Sarah Ali Khan, Divyansh Singh, Kshitiz Aggarwal, Barbie Jaiswal, Aaansh Kandhari, Ishan Sharma and Humaira Ahmad. The digital presentation and e-invite were made by Rushil Aggarwal, Rishith Dutt, Mannat Kohli and Aditya Das.
