NATIONWIDE SUSTAINABILITY HACKATHON ORGANISED BY TERI SCHOOL OF ADVANCED STUDIES

Mayra Yadav and Kashvi Wadhwa of Class XI-J represented Delhi Public School, RK Puram at the Nationwide Sustainability Hackathon organised by TERI School of Advanced Studies, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi on 19th November 2025. The event brought together young innovators from across the country to present solutions addressing sustainability challenges through practical, impactful business ideas.

Among participants from across India, Mayra and Kashvi secured the 3rd Position along with a cash prize of 7,500, bringing laurel to the school with their socially conscious project. They participated under the guidance of their teacher, Ms Sangita Bajpai.

Beyond innovation, the idea emphasised measurable environmental impact. By reusing aluminium foil, the model significantly reduces energy consumption and diverting foil and textile waste from landfills helps prevent long-term pollution.
