On Tuesday, November 4, 2025 the students of classes XI I and XI J presented their assembly on the theme “The Seven Virtues of DPS RK Puram”, portraying a vivid picture of the virtues and morals taught at DPS RK Puram to celebrate its esteemed reputation as 53 year old institution.The assembly commenced with a soulful morning prayer – “अच्युतम केशवम कृष्ण दामोदरम” by Agaran R Prasana, Aiesha Arora, Anwita Jaiswal, Aviraj Aggarwal, Bhavyay Malhotra, Harnoor Sachdeva,Naorem Tusita Devi, Sanna Sehgal, Vansh Choudhary, Vedanth Sadh, Priyanshi, Raghavi Rao, Adarsh Jha, Shaurya Verma, Aadrit Chandravanci, Kathith Sethi, Sujal Kumar Jena, Arav Singhal .The morning prayer was followed by the mesmerizing Shiv Tandav dance performed by Aditri Thakur.
The news headlines, including the international, national, sports, and weather news were read by Rithym Ghosh, Vedant Patil, Sanna Sehgal and Shaarav Tandon respectively. The gathering was enlightened with the thought for the day by Shreshtha and Md. Armaan Firdousi. The program moved forward with soulful renditions of poems in Hindi by Aditya Garg & Aarav Khattar and in English by Kashvi Wadhwa and Mayra Yadav. This was followed by a short film edited by Aiesha Arora and Harnoor Sachdeva where Nishika Taneja, Kathith Sethi, envisioned where they see themselves in the next 10 years. Afterwards, speeches were given by Shriyadita Singh and Arav Singhal, weaving together the school’s legacy of intellect, compassion and excellence.
The vibrant band added energy to the assembly, captivating the audience. Nishika Taneja, Harnoor Sachdeva and Naysa Gupta were the vocalists, Mrigank Kohli, Rai Rudrapati Ray, Shivansh Gupta and Nandika Sharma played the guitar, Vedant Patil played the keyboard, and Myra Singh played the violin. The programme ended with a short act on Seven Virtues, performed by Sanna Sehgal (Confidence), Aadrit Chandravanci (Perseverance), Maishaa Minocha (Empathy), Vansh Choudhary (Curiosity), Shaurya Verma (Integrity), Aiesha Arora (Creativity), Kathith Sethi (Gratitude) and Shriya Sawhney.The comperes for the assembly were Rai Rudrapati Ray, Sanskriti Singh, Mrigank Kohli and Pranika Singh. The folders were made by Raghavi Rao and Adarsh Jha. The invitation cards were made by Priyanshi and Pranika Singh. The board decorations were done by Raghavi Rao, Priyanshi and Adarsh Jha. The e-invite was designed by Rannak Singhal. The digital presentation was made by Rannak Singhal and Siddharth Joshi. The assembly concluded with the school anthem followed by the national anthem.
