The Spanish Language Festival ‘La Fiesta 2025’ was held at Delhi Public School, Indirapuram on July 29, 2025.
The students of DPS, RK PURAM participated enthusiastically in the following categories of events and bagged the top three positions.
Four students, namely, Shevalini Mathur (VI G), Aadhya Shrivastava (VI G), Shaurya Gupta (VI D) and Kashvi Puri (VI E) of Grade VI participated in the Group Poetry Recitation and Dramatization and secured the first position. The above event aimed at fostering teamwork, creativity and cultural expression among students.
A student of Grade VII – Myrah Vaishnav (VII D) participated in the Character de facto event which aimed at enhancing students’ expression and confidence. She bagged the second position.
A student of Grade VIII, Hunar Sachdeva (VIII F) participated in the Solo Song event. She secured the first position. The event emphasized on nurturing self-expression and musical talent of the students.
Three students of grade X namely- Aanya Aggarwal (X M), Aavya Shrivastava (X M) and Nanya Gupta (X M) participated in the Dramatic Extract and secured the second position. The above category of events aimed at fostering theatrical skills and expressive dialogue delivery.
Four students of grade IX and X namely, Vihaana Dogra (X F), Jivisha Jain (IX L), Anya Garg (IX L) and Ananya Ranjan (IX I) participated in the Traditional Hispanic Dance and secured the first position. This particular event aimed at fostering cultural appreciation, rhythm, coordination and expressive movement.
