Malala Yousafzai once said, “One book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world.” This inspiring thought came alive at Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, on 8th September, when the school celebrated World Literacy Day with enthusiasm and purpose. To mark the occasion, a lively Book Fair was held for students of Classes VI to VIII, transforming the school premises into a haven for book lovers.
The Principal, Mr. Anil Kumar, inaugurated the fair and reminded everyone that reading opens doors to imagination, knowledge, and endless possibilities.Students eagerly explored the novels, biographies, science books, and more. For many, it was a chance to discover new stories, new worlds, and new ideas. The event beautifully captured the essence of literacy, proving that books are not just pages, but bridges that connect minds and shape the future.
