TOPIC: “REPUBLIC DAY”
“The true strength of a Republic lies not just in the Constitution but in the collective conscience and unity of the people.”
Taking forward the same thought to celebrate the occasion of Republic Day, the students of classes VIIIE and VIIIF set the stage for a presentation that elegantly captured the meaning behind these words. The assembly began with the prayer “Achyutam Keshavam” which was melodiously sung by Mohammad Adyan, Mitali Bakshi, Samia, Pragya Singhania, Aanya Kumar, Lavika Kaur, Grisha Kaushik, Zikra Suhail, Kanishq Bhardwaj, Aman Paswan, Abeer Jain, Yashasvi, Shweta Kumari and Adya Khanna and Mishka Shah.
Then the theatrical performance took over, presenting the essence of cultural unity and the significance of the Indian Republic globally, performed by : Ayan Alam, Katyayani Chugh, Aviral Nayyar, Aniket Agrawal, Anya Johri and Manit Verma. This skit was complemented by glimpses at global affairs and a collection of ponderous thoughts. These were gracefully delivered by Ananya Sud, Suryashis Banerjee, Zoya kaur Bhatia, Viraaj and Ishaan Gaur. Subsequently, the skit culminated in a Vishnu Vandana by Samia, Saatvika and Saanvi Verma.
Following this, was a group presentation delivered by Shimja, Akshainie Bedi, Arav Mukherjee, Ashray Kaushik, Jatin Badgujar, Yuvraj Singh, Arshaliya Kaur, Navya Mehta, Navya Nandini, Saanvi Singh Pawar, Ankit Kumar, Arin Jha, Sabreen Kaur, Nishchay Singh, Kiara Arora, Pusan, Mishka Shah and Tushar Khandelwaal. This reminded us of the importance of a Republic, and why we should be very proud of it. After this came up a talented choir, added to by an equally talented orchestra. The choir included Aanya Kumar, Lavika Kaur, Grisha Kaushik, Katyayani Chugh, Zikra Suhail, Kanishq Bhardwaj, Mohammad Adyan, Yashasvi, Shweta Kumari, Adya Khanna, Saanvi Sawhney, Ishan Gaur, Navya Mehta, Mishka Shah, Saara Puri, Navya Nandini, Vaanya Sharma, Arshaliya Kaur, Nishchay Singh while the orchestra was constituted by Karman Singh, Devin Jain and Akshainie Bedi.
Then, a distinguished dance took center stage, performed by Grisha Kaushik, Vamsi Singh, Archisa Bhattacharaya, Pragya Singhania, Mitali Bakshi, Junaid Alam, Arnav Kalra, Kiara, Kaavyansh, Pusan, Maithli, Ananya and Kiara
The soft board was beautifully decorated by Shimja, Vamsi Singh, Ananya Sud, Gurleen Kaur, Iris Ahlawat, Shweta Kumari, Pragya Singhania, Aadya Gupta, Lavika Kau, Navya Nandini, Zoya, Arshalia, Saanvi Singh Pawar, Sabreen and Vaanya. The invites for the Principal and the Headmistress were elegantly designed by Katyayani Chugh and Ananya Sud respectively. The folder for the assembly was artistically crafted by Shimja. The e-invites were prepared by Lav Singh and Kush Singh, Tushar Khandelwal. The engaging digital presentation was designed by Arav Mukherjee, Ishaan Shrivastav, Satvik Gupta and Tushar. The script was written by Akshainie Bedi, Arav Mukherjee and Shimja. All these productions were successfully tied together by the Comperes, Shimja and Vivaan.
