TOPIC: “NEW YEAR’S CALL, A FRESH START FOR ALL”
On January 13, 2025, the students of Class XI-T and XI-U came together for an inspiring assembly centered around the theme “New Year’s Call, A Fresh Start for All.” This theme, filled with hope, renewal, and new beginnings, set the tone for an uplifting experience, encouraging reflection and optimism for the year ahead.
The assembly began with a soulful prayer, sung by Anirudra, Deepti, Naina, Pavni, Ishi, Garima, Aditi, Abhinav, Samridhi, Parishee, Ishaan, Harkarman, and Kunal. This was followed by a beautiful Vandana on Aigiri Nandini, performed by Saanvi A, Mahira, and Malvika. Anirudra recited a Sanskrit Shlok with a translation provided by Bhavya, setting a spiritual and reflective tone. The Thought for the Day, presented by Myrah and Abhinav K., inspired the audience with meaningful reflections on kindness and gratitude. A global update by Divyaa, Aritri, Yuvraj S., and Abhinav K. connected the assembly to current world events. Jayant, Aishani, Garima, and Ridhi recited a self-composed poem, emphasizing love and kindness as timeless forces.
Jayant, Shreeya, Aishani, Anirudra, Ishaan, Kartikeya, and Garima presented a skit on, “A Moment Between the Seconds”. It was a story woven with threads of hope, change, growth, and endless possibilities – the very spirit of the New Year. The choir, featuring Deepti, Amyra, Aanya, Pavni, Alviira, Kulsoom, Ishi, Shreeya, Divyashakti, Keshav, Shivang, Yuvraj K, and Aritri, delivered a captivating performance. The grand finale, a high-energy hip-hop dance performance, by Anushka, Alisha, Aanandi, Gauravi, Tvishaa, Rehhet, and Myrah, electrified the atmosphere.
The visual elements, including the board artwork, invitation cards, e-invite, and presentations, were thoughtfully designed by Anushka, Divyaa, Naina, Aishani, Alviira, Ridhi, and Shreeya, adding to the event’s grandeur. The assembly was expertly compered by Shreeya, Kartikeya, Alisha, Keshav, Ishi, Pavni, Divyaa, Ridhi, and Aanandi, ensuring a smooth and seamless flow. The assembly embodied the theme of new beginnings, leaving us with hope, kindness, and endless possibilities for the year ahead.
