TOPIC: “ONCE UPON A KINDNESS”
Kindness is a virtue that transcends all boundaries, bringing hope and positivity into our lives. It is a simple yet profound act that can transform the world around us. The students of Class XI K and XI L explored this theme with an inspiring assembly titled “Once Upon a Kindness.” The event reflected creativity, talent, and the importance of compassion in today’s world. The compering was done by Kahini, Sanvi, Veda, and Shaurya M.
The assembly began with a solemn morning prayer by Anahita, Arnav, Arav Dahiya, Aryan Tomar, Bhavishya, Daksh, Devkant, Gudakesh, Karun, Pramit, Pranav, Rohan, Shambhvi, Shashwat, Tupuvi, Vibhu, Akshat Bhaskar, Nouloshi, Aayush, Rudra, and Manan, setting a serene and reflective tone for the day. This was followed by the Thought of the Day by Arsheeya, Navraj, and Taanya, which emphasized the power of small acts of kindness in creating a ripple effect of positivity.
Next, a heartfelt poem by Shaurya and Shashwat on kindness was recited, resonating deeply with the audience and highlighting the joy of selfless giving. The news segment followed, with Manbhav, Shambhvi, Rishika, and Rohan delivering updates on international, national, and sports events, along with the weather report. This was followed by an enthralling classical dance performed by Pallavi, Arshia, Jia, Omya and Anahita.
A mesmerizing play, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, was performed by Pranshu, Pahal, Hriday, Nikhil, Akshat Bhaskar, Manan, Madhav, Avihaan, Saumya, Zonish, Aaryanveer, Navneet, Nishit, Sabeer, Tanmaya, Aditi Thakur, Kashvi, Aaliyah, Kahini, Anahita, portraying the transformative power of kindness and compassion. The audience was captivated by the impactful message of the story.
The choir consisting of Hriday, Nikhil, Pahal, Sabeer, Tanmaya, Zonish, Yusuf, Anahita, and Navneet then performed soul-stirring renditions of Ik Tu Hi Bharosa and Ishwar Allah, spreading an aura of peace and harmony. A magical band presentation performed by Aaliyah, Aditya Srivastav, Kahini, Navneet, Sabeer, Tanmaya, Vanlalmuanpui, Zonish, Akshat Bhaskar, Yusuf concluded the assembly, leaving the audience enthralled. The invites and folders were made by Pallavi, Pahal, Gargi and Saanvi and the board was prepared by Pallavi, Navneet, Mahira, Ishaanya and Saanvi Giel. The presentation was made by Navneet, Pallavi and Yusuf. The assembly was a resounding success, showcasing the students’ talents and reminding everyone of the timeless value of kindness in our lives.
