CARNIVAL ’24

“The bottom line is learning with fun and joy ”

Delhi Public School R.K. Puram organised its highly anticipated Annual School Carnival on 3 December 2024. The event was put together by the teachers with support from the school staff. A thrilling day, full of enjoyable activities, games, food, and entertainment; it brought all the students of DPS RK Puram, from classes VI to XII, together.

The school’s football field, which hosted the carnival, was transformed into a fairyland, decked up with colourful balloons and vibrant stalls. A variety of attractions were set up to ensure that there was something for everyone. Some highlights of the event include:

  • Games and Activities: There were 5 different activity stalls put up by the various departments of the school. Speedcubing, tongue twisters, scramble, calligraphy, sudoku puzzles and activities like creating out of waste kept the students entertained, besides fostering their skills.
  • A photo booth was set up for the students to capture their joyful moments. Artisans from Dilli Haat sold handmade bracelets and chic keychains with the owner’s name written on them.
  • Food and Refreshments: More than half of the field was turned into a food court, which served a wide range of carnival favorites from cotton candies,ice-creams and popcorns, to pizzas, donuts and shakes. Favourite brands like Dunkin’ Donuts, Domino’s, Giani’s, Bakingo and Subway added their own flavour to the carnival.
  • Entertainment: The rhythmic beats of the DJ electrified the atmosphere as the students tapped their feet to the music.
  • The talent hunt, DPS RKP’s Got Talent, was received with an overwhelming participation from the students. Enthusiastic participants showcased their talents as the audience applauded their confidence and efforts.
