The school celebrated Cyber Jaagrukta Diwas on the first Wednesday of the month with great enthusiasm and active participation from students across various classes. This initiative, aimed at raising awareness about cyber security, provided students with an engaging platform to explore the importance of staying safe and responsible in the digital world.
Under the visionary guidance of our esteemed Principal, Mr. Anil Kumar, and organized by Ms. Sarika Kaushal, the Nodal Officer for Cyber Safety and incharge of CYBERX Club, a variety of activities were conducted to encourage students to think critically about their digital safety.
Activities Conducted
- Classes VII, VIII, and IX (on 6 Nov 2024):
- Poster Making and Painting: Students unleashed their creativity to design vibrant and impactful posters highlighting key aspects of cyber safety.
- Thought for the Day: Students shared meaningful and thought-provoking ideas related to safe online practices, emphasizing the role of awareness in cyber security.
- Classes VI, X, XI, and XII (on 13 Nov 2024):
- Create Out of Waste: Students crafted innovative models and artwork from waste materials, symbolizing the theme of recycling knowledge for a secure digital environment.
- Thought for the Day: Ideas promoting vigilance and awareness in the cyber world were shared, inspiring peers to adopt safe practices.
- Slogan and Poem Writing: Students expressed their understanding of cyber security through catchy slogans and creative poems, showcasing their literary talent and awareness.
- Class Discussions: Interactive discussions were held in classrooms, where students shared their experiences, learned about online threats, and discussed strategies to protect themselves and others.
The activities not only enhanced students’ understanding of cyber security but also provided them with an opportunity to showcase their creativity and critical thinking. Their active participation and enthusiastic response reflected their keen interest in contributing to a safer online community.
